One of our customers is one of the pioneers in the use of thermoformed packaging made from renewable raw materials that can be recycled via the paper cycle.
With its own brand Gackerle Bio, Mathilde Balzer GmbH is one of the first organic manufacturers in the market to present its high-quality poultry sausage products in plastic-free paper-based packaging. The new packaging for poultry sausage slices replaces plastic with paper and cellulose and is recyclable via the paper cycle. The company aims to save seven tons of plastic in the first year alone.
